Your responsibility
You are the sole owner of what you send. Since Solo2 is a private encrypted system, we cannot (and do not want to) moderate your conversations.
Lawful use
Solo2 is for people who value their privacy. Using the infrastructure for illegal activities is prohibited.
We'd love to tell you that if someone uses Solo2 for something bad, we'll detect it immediately and cut their access. But we'd be lying. And here, if there's one thing we do well, it's not lying.
Our encryption is real. We cannot see your conversations, we cannot read your messages, and we cannot know what you use Solo2 for. That is exactly what we promise, and we keep our promises.
A kitchen knife can prepare a wonderful dinner or it can cause harm. A car can take you on holiday or it can be used as a weapon. The solution has never been to ban knives or cars — it's to trust that the vast majority of people are good. The same applies to private conversations: two people can get together to do good or to do evil, and nobody would think of banning people from talking. We simply bring that conversation into the digital realm with the same guarantees.
If you use Solo2 for something illegal, the responsibility is exclusively yours. We won't know about it, nor do we want to — but the law has its own ways of finding you, and none of them go through us.
Minimum age
You must be at least 14 years old para usar Solo2 (conforme al artículo 7 de la LOPDGDD). Al crear una cuenta, declaras que cumples este requisito. Si eres menor de 14 años, no utilices el servicio.
Your browser, your environment
Solo2 runs inside your web browser. We control the quality of our code, but we cannot control the environment where it runs: las extensiones que tengas instaladas, el estado de tu sistema operativo, la configuración de tu red o el software de terceros que pueda interferir.
If a malicious extension reads what is displayed on your screen, or if your operating system is compromised, that falls outside our scope. We recommend using an up-to-date browser with as few extensions as possible.
Menzuri shall not be liable for any loss or disclosure of information caused by the user's environment (browser extensions, malware, unauthorised physical access to the device, or any other circumstance beyond our service).
Your local data
Your messages, files, and contacts are stored exclusively in your browser, cifrados. El servidor de Solo2 no tiene copia de ellos — esa es precisamente nuestra promesa de privacidad.
This means that the custody of your data is yours. Si borras los datos de tu navegador, cambias de dispositivo sin hacer una copia de seguridad, o pierdes el acceso a tu equipo, no podremos recuperar tu información porque nunca la tuvimos.
Solo2 offers encrypted backup export tools and automatic recovery between linked devices. We recommend using them.
Balance and payments
When you add balance to your account, the payment is processed through an external payment gateway. We only receive a confirmation and an amount — no personal data from the payer.
Payment records are deliberately unlinked from user accounts. No existe ningún campo en nuestra base de datos que relacione un ticket de cobro con una cuenta concreta. Esta es una decisión de diseño que protege tu anonimato.
As a direct consequence of this protection, added balance is non-refundable. No se trata de una restricción comercial, sino de una imposibilidad técnica: no podemos devolver dinero a una persona que no podemos identificar, vinculado a una transacción que no podemos asociar a ninguna cuenta.
By making a payment, you expressly accept that the balance is added to your account immediately and that, given the anonymous nature of the system, it is not possible to process refunds.
Right of withdrawal
European legislation recognises a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance purchases (Directive 2011/83/EU, transposed into Spanish law by Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007).
In the case of Solo2, the balance is credited to your account immediately upon payment. By making the purchase, you expressly consent to the immediate performance of the service y reconoces que, una vez acreditado el saldo, pierdes el derecho de desistimiento conforme al artículo 103.m) del RDL 1/2007 (suministro de contenido digital no proporcionado en soporte material cuya ejecución haya comenzado con tu consentimiento expreso).
Additionally, the deliberate unlinking of payments from accounts makes it technically impossible to identify the payer for a potential refund.
Intellectual property
The Solo2 software is the property of Menzuri, but your privacy is yours alone.
The code, design, trademarks, and content of Solo2 are the property of Menzuri Gestión S.L. or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, and revocable licence to use the service in accordance with these terms. You may not copy, modify, decompile, or reverse-engineer the software.
Service availability
We strive to keep Solo2 available continuously, but we do not guarantee 100% availability. Puede haber interrupciones por mantenimiento, actualizaciones o circunstancias fuera de nuestro control.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service (in whole or in part) at any time, with reasonable prior notice when possible. We shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension, or interruption of the service.
Account suspension and termination
You can delete your account at any time from the application settings. Deletion is immediate, atomic (all or nothing), and irreversible.
Let's be honest about our capacity to act: since we don't know who you are or what you do within Solo2, our ability to "suspend accounts for misuse" is, in practice, virtually non-existent. We don't monitor content because we can't — and we don't want to be able to.
That said, if a court order instructs us to delete a specific account identified by its username, we will comply with the law. But we cannot go beyond that, and we don't pretend otherwise.
Disclaimer
The Solo2 service is provided "as is" (AS IS). Menzuri Gestión S.L. no garantiza que el servicio sea ininterrumpido o esté libre de errores.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for data loss, business interruption, or indirect damages arising from the use of the service.
It is complex software operating in real time on distributed infrastructure. Use it at your own risk.
In any event, Menzuri's total cumulative liability to you for any reason shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to Menzuri in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or 50 euros, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for wilful misconduct, gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable Spanish law.
Force majeure
We shall not be liable for the failure or delay in fulfilling our obligations when caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, power or telecommunications outages, cyberattacks, governmental actions, pandemics, or any other force majeure event recognised under Spanish law.
Changes to terms
We may update these terms when necessary. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will make a reasonable effort to notify you through the application itself.
Continued use of the service after the new terms are published implies acceptance of those terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you may stop using the service and delete your account.
Applicable law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute arising from the use of the service, both parties submit to the Courts and Tribunals of Lugo (Spain), without prejudice to any rights you may have as a consumer under applicable law.
